the history channel is full of cheeky liberals

watching BAT21 on history network yesterday i noticed a particular ad which subtly compared iraq to vietnam. it named off a bunch of catch phrases from that war glued to horrific scenes from film depecting the end result of these catch phrases. one in particular was an american troop holding a gun to vietnamese boys' head while trying to negotiate with a viet cong. After a few from vietnam the words 'shock and awe' appeared on the screen, which if i remember correctly was coined by paul (his middle name is blitzkrieg!) wolfowitz during the initial invasion of iraq. then the words 'history tells us the future' flashed by as well.
