say hello to klaus

"We had already taken the resolute action of pulling out of the NPT and have manufactured nukes for self-defence to cope with the Bush administration's evermore undisguised policy to isolate and stifle the DPRK.
Its nuclear weapons will remain nuclear deterrent for self-defence under any circumstances.
The present reality proves that only powerful strength can protect justice and truth....Second. The US disclosed its attempt to topple the political system in the DPRK at any cost, threatening it with a nuclear stick. This compels us to take a measure to bolster its nuclear weapons arsenal in order to protect the ideology, system, freedom and democracy chosen by its people.
There is no justification for us to participate in the six-party talks again given that the Bush administration termed the DPRK, a dialogue partner, an "outpost of tyranny", putting into the shade the hostile policy, and totally negated it.
The US now foolishly claims to stand by the people in the DPRK while negating the government chosen by the people themselves."

50 years ago my dad went to Seoul for the same opinions we are at today. Instead of McCarthyism http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/USAmccarthyism.htm, it's Bushism http://slate.msn.com/id/2101282/

carve your name into my arm

i've recently came to a conclusion of my thoughts, visa a vie, light switch on. I realized recently that science and art, although seemingly antagonistic, are truly devisive of each other. Science proves art and art proves science. Science makes sense of chaos, art makes chaos of organization. No matter how random you make something, chaotic patterns always occur and you can always predict these patterns. Make sense of non-sense. On the other end of the spectrum ( note the clever play on words, thank me later) there is only 5 colours in all. 5 colours comprise an infinite amount of mush shades far beyond human comprehension of numerals. But we can understand the infinity of the amount. This is my version of the human condition; we can comprehend things we can't possibly understand.
This is my art.
This is my science.

finally someone comes out and says something with some balls instead of the usual prescripted made for tv propaganda you usually hear. Iran's foreign minister Hamid Reza Asefi's flat out called bush on some of his tactics. calling americans supporters of "Zionist terrorist groups" and citing torture at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay. With memorable quotes like "Those who support terrorism cannot talk about combating terrorism," I imagine this will add cannon fodder to american zeal to fight discrimination. Although the comments are blaitantly anti-semitic, they are not without cause or diction. Iran has continually lived up to (unrealistic!) requests for nuclear inspections. this year allowing european and australian weapons inspectors to visit their nuclear power plants to prove they are shocklingly providing power. I thought that would be the end of the united states quest to attack them, but from bush's state of union address, i might have been wrong.

"Today, Iran remains the world's primary state sponsor of terror -- pursuing nuclear weapons while depriving its people of the freedom they seek and deserve....As you stand for your own liberty, America stands with you," Bush said.
Asefi said the Bush administration's suggestion that the people of Iran do not enjoy human rights and don't support their government will be proven wrong this week when millions of Iranians will take to the streets in marches celebrating the anniversary of Iran's 1979 revolution that overthrew the ruling shah.

i hope no one reads this

danny's birthday. feeling slugish. I don't know how to define everything i need to say without sounding whiney or informal or brutish or calice. Not that it matters, i've got nothing to prove. Perhaps my minimalism is catching upto my grandious desires and aspirtations of something more than imagined.
Truly those with the most lucid imaginations are cursed. It's so easy for these types to lose base, to live in another world. Perhaps if that is escapism and cowardly, cowardice is synominous with bliss, rather than ignorance. mmm big red lips candy.
Perhaps i am standing still.
Perhaps i am waking from my stillness?

Despite how far i've come and how much i grow, it seems like i'm still waiting for that person to come along like the gutless sack of door-knobs that i am and show me my calling. This is weakness at it's finest. How many things must be reinvented before we have a true whole? and how many turns do we make before we personify the turning?

once upon a time a tiger was chasing some goats. during the chase she became injured, and gave birth to a cub as she died. the goats, having never seen a baby tiger before, adopted it into the herd. As he grew, the cub was not a very good goat. He didn't have the right teeth for chewing grass, and he liked to climb up trees to sleep which made the other goats jealous.
One day, another tiger came along and started trying to catch one for dinner as before. He came upon the young tiger, cowering in the bush.
"what are you doing?" asked the old tiger
"hiding" replied the younger
"why?"
"i'm afraid you'll eat me" answered the young tiger.
"come with me" laughed the old tiger. Whereupon he took the young tiger to his cave and made him eat of a freshly killed antelope. The young tiger told him he was a vegetarian. But the old tiger made him eat; telling him the meat would make him strong. After a while, he took the young tiger to the lake and told him to look at his reflection before he took a drink.
"you see, your face is the same as mine. You are not a goat. You are a tiger. You must act like a tiger. That is the nature of things."
