a change of pace

i usually update this site with photographs about 2 or 3 times a week, but there is no set schedule. i get all sorts of comments, most of them negative. The weirdest part is that without exception the comments have nothing to do with the photographs themselves, but merely other various complaints (ie: write more posts, more updates, more people shots like this entry, you only take photos to post on your blog etc). This is good news. Without exception people tend to like the photographs, and many people who would outloud denounce me in public still visit on a regular basis.
I'm not a big fan of most personal blogs because they don't serve any purpose other than a slight insight into particular bloggers mind, usually the emotionally destraught portion of it. I learned this the hard way by starting my blog as a text ranting about various wanton (much like this particular entry!).
I've found that through photography and various other paths my life has gone down within the last few years that subtlty is key for impact and i feel that's what i do with this blog, and it's purpose. like 90 percent of the other blogs out there, i'm just crying about personal woes. i try to do it through a lens.
i'd like to thank everyone who visits this site for your quiet support and hope that anything i try to do isn't a wash.
